Territory

Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic. It is separated from Great Britain by the North Channel and the Irish Sea. Politically Ireland is divided in two parts: the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Republic of Ireland is a parliamentary democracy based on the British model with a written constitution and an elected president, and the capital is Dublin. While Northern Ireland is a part of United Kingdom. Ireland has a mild but changeable oceanic climate with areas warmer in summer and colder in winter. It is the second most populous island in Europe (after Great Britain) in fact it counts 6 million people.

                                                                                                                                                   One of the most popular band are U2. They are a rock band formed by four members in Dublin in 1976. They won many awards like 22 Grammy Awards, and they are one of the world's best-selling music artist of all time.

                                                   Food and Drinks    

One of the traditional dishes is the Irish stew. It is a stew with lamb, potatoes, onions and parsley, while the irish beer is one of the most popular drink.

Heroic Animals

I found an interesting story of a dog named Stubby (for his short tail). This dog was considered a very heroic pup because during World War I he was allowed to join soldiers on the front line and to serve in 17 battles. He was able to do many things like locating his wounded comrades, warning about an enemy gas strike and even attacking a German soldier that was trying to map out the layout of the dog's Allied trenches. For this reasons he was rightfully promoted to Sergeant Stubby, became a lifetime member of the American Legion, won the gold dog's medal and finally became one of the Georgetown University's  mascots.

My School :)

1. My school is OK. Its name is Lyceum "Galileo Galilei". It's situated in the city centre, in front of the Ducal palace (a historical building). It's an old school. There are a gym and a big auditorium. There are about 20 classes, 1 lab of languages, 1 I.T. lab.

2. In my class there are 18 students, 3 boys and 15 girls, all very friendly. Robert sits next to me. She is not very tall, she has curly and brown hair. Roberta is my best friend. In my class there are also 2 girls, Michela and Carmela, we have been friends since 2012. Carmela is slim and not very tall, her hair is short, straight and brown. Michela is slim and not very tall, her hair is short, curly and light brown. They are pretty and very, very funny.

3. My teachers are really good, all very funny, like my English teacher, my Spanish teacher and my Maths teacher.
This is my school and I love it.

Hi, my name is Arianna. Arianna is a name with Greek origins. The meaning of this name is "Very Holy". At the first it was Ariadne, but after some times it has become Arianna for smooth out the pronunciation. Other version of this name are: Ariadna, Ariana, Arianne, Ariane, Aryana and Ariadné. My parents chose this name because, the day I was born, they open the book of the name and they were immediately attracted by the name Arianna.

My name-day is on September 18th although first was 17th.
